<p>The invention relates to a device for shredding plastic objects (2), provided with a spiral-shaped housing (3) in which a carrier member (4) is rotatably mounted. The housing (3) has an opening (8) arranged in its upper surface (5) for feeding objects (2) for shredding and an opening (9) arranged in its side surface (7) for discharging shredded material (10).
