FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: electric-arc plasma torch has housing accommodating cathode and nozzle-anode mounted coaxially and forming discharge chamber that communicates-with steam source incorporating porous moisture-absorbing material and oblong member made of heat-conducting material, provided with central channel, and electrically insulated from coaxially arranged cathode. At least one channel is provided on side surface of oblong member which communicates on one end with moisture-absorbing material and on opposite end, with discharge chamber; its function is to provide communication between steam source and discharge chamber. EFFECT: improved power and service lift of torch.
