FIELD: marking devices. SUBSTANCE: the hand marking device has an electric- operated stylus for application of symbols onto the surface for writing and a sensor for detection when the stylus is moving in any direction parallel to this surface. The device uses a means for actuation of the stylus, when the sensor detects the relative movement of the stylus and surface. The stylus can apply symbols of any kind and dimensions onto the surface for writing; to this end, it is provided with means for selection of a definite symbol out of symbols of different kinds and dimensions. EFFECT: improved design.
