FIELD: shipbuilding; high-speed ships equipped with water-jet propellers; water scoops with deeply submersible intake portion to increase thrust and enhance efficiency. SUBSTANCE: each upper guide blade is made of wing and bent plate following it in flow; lower blade is made of bent plate and wing following it; wings are located at angle relative to incoming flow; suction surfaces of wings are directed towards motion of ship and driving surfaces are provided with artificial roughness.
