FIELD: food industry. SUBSTANCE: for beverages and drinks clearing the layered aluminosilicates exhibiting complete or partially disrupted octahedral layers were used. As layered aluminosilicate the following minerals can be used: biotite, vermiculite, hydrobiotite, hydrophlogopite, glauconite, illite, montmorillonite, muscovite, saponite, phlogopite. Heat action at temperature range 600-1000 C is used to disrupt octahedral layers. Reagent is a mixture at least one layered aluminosilicate and layered aluminosilicate disruption products. Reagent can be added to beverage or intermediate product separately or with phosphate ion-containing compounds. Method can be used in nonalcoholic, wine-making and brewery industries.
