FIELD: transport engineering; hydraulic steering mechanisms installed in steering systems. SUBSTANCE: hydraulic steering gear has housing 1 with fitted in spool 19. Made in housing 1 are two delivery grooves 3 and 4, two cylinder grooves 5 and 6, drain groove 7 and additional grooves 8 arranged in the following sequence: delivery, additional, other delivery, motor, cylinder, drain and other cylinder grooves providing, with spool 19 moved, connection of delivery groove through one of motor grooves with one of cylinder grooves, other groove being connected through other motor groove with drain groove, and with spool 19 in neutral position, connection of both delivery grooves 3 and 4 with additional groove 8.
