A broadcasting receiving device and a synchronization method thereof are provided to adjust synchronization between the broadcasting receiving device and a multimedia apparatus, so that a broadcasting program played in the multimedia apparatus can be reproduced in the broadcasting receiving device. An interface unit(180) receives broadcasting information from an external device. A controller(190) controls so that a broadcasting program played in the external device is recorded based on the received broadcasting information. The controller controls so that the broadcasting program is reproduced while recorded. The external device is a DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) terminal. The broadcasting information comprises at least one of time information and a channel number corresponding to the broadcasting program reproduced in the DMB terminal.
