The invention relates to a connection member for plate shaped wall elements, here in particular glass panes, which can do away with the cost intensive introduction of glass cut-outs. Thereby now only within the glass panes notches are introduced, into which on each side a connection member half is fitted. The connection member halves are joined together by means of a screw element.
