FIELD: biotechnology, genetic and protein engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of keratinocyte growth factor (KGF) analog preparing. Analog of KGF is prepared by modification of one or some amino acids in region of 32-55 of amino acid sequence SEQ ID NO:2. Cysteine residue in positions 32 and 46 is deleted or replaced with another amino acid. Expression vector comprising recombinant nucleic acid encoding analog of KGF is transformed in E. coli cells. Transformed strain of E. coli is cultured and KGF analog is obtained. KGF analog is used in pharmaceutical composition for stimulation of epithelial cells growth. Invention allows to prepare analogs of KGF eliciting enhanced stability in storage. Invention can be used for analog of KGF preparing.
