<p>PURPOSE: To increase the accuracy in connection between handrail members by putting the handrail members on handrail loading surfaces formed on a connecting device and connecting the handrail members to each other through the connecting device under this condition. CONSTITUTION: A connecting fixture for handrail members 1 is formed by assembling together a connecting device 12, a bracket seat 15, and an arm 13 which connects these two parts to each other. After the connecting fixture 1 is assembled, screws 23 are inserted through screw holes 15c of the bracket seat 15 and screwed into columns for fixing. Also bolts 20 are inserted into bolt holes 12b of the connecting device 12, and handrail members 2 are put on handrail member loading surfaces 12f under this condition, and screws 21 are screwed into screw holes 12c of the connecting device 12 so as to fix the handrail members 2 to the connecting device 12. Then the handrail members 3 are put on the handrail member loading surfaces 12g of the connecting device 12, and the handrail members 3 are rotated so as to screw the bolts 20 into nut members 8. Thus the handrail members 3 are installed to the connecting device through the nut member 8.</p> |
