A method for treating waste water capable of adjusting concentration of dissolved oxygen with pure oxygen and an apparatus thereof are provided to offset flow rate burden by maximizing oxygen utilization efficiency. A method for treating waste water capable of adjusting concentration of dissolved oxygen with pure oxygen includes the following steps of: supplying the oxygen on waste water/sludge compounds which are stored on an aeration tank; processing organic compounds contained in the waste water/sludge compounds biologically(S4); supplying the air locally on the water/sludge compounds; and reducing micro-bubbles existing in the water/sludge compounds(S6). |
