PRODUCTION OF EXTRUSION-MOLDED CEMENT HAVING HIGH STRENGTH AND LIGHT WEIGHT

PURPOSE: To efficiently produce a light-weight cement building material containing inorganic hollow spherical filler by using an extrusion molding method in place of conventional technology requiring the cast forming for the production of the material. CONSTITUTION: This extrusion-molded high-strength light-weight cement article is produced by incorporating (A) 100 pts.wt. of cement with (B) 30-80 pts.wt. of inorganic hollow spherical filler and (C) 40-90 pts.wt. of an extrusion assistant consisting of inorganic or organic short fibers, a cellulose derivative and fine powder of vitreous volcanic deposit, adding water to the composition to a water- content of 30-45wt.%, extrusion-molding the mixture and curing the molded product.
