PURPOSE: To obtain an olefinic thermoplastic elastomer composition, excellent in operating temperature range, flexibility, heat and weather resistances, lightweight properties, processing characteristics, economical efficiency, calendering formability and hue. CONSTITUTION: This composition is obtained by dynamically heat-treating a mixture comprising (A) 20-10wt.% polypropylene resin, containing propylene as a principal component monomer and manifesting the melting peak at >=135 deg.C when the heat-up analysis is carried out at 10 deg.C/min heating rate according to the differential scanning calorimetry(DSC), (B) 35-70wt.% ethylene-α-olefin copolymer having <=0.930g/cm<3> density and the melting peak at >=110 deg.C when the heat-up analysis is performed at 10 deg.C/min heating rate according to the DSC, (C) 20-50wt.% ethylene-propylene-nonconjugated diene copolymer rubber [the sum total of the components (A), (B) and (C) is 100wt.%] and (D) a conjugated diene-styrene block copolymer in an amount of 2-20 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. component (C) and thereby initiating chemical interaction.
