PURPOSE: To obtain a cylindrical polyimide film having excellent heat resistance and mechanical characteristics, further having both a dielectric property and a semi-conductive property, and useful as an endless member for transferring toners, by centrifugally casting a raw material solution under a specific condition. CONSTITUTION: A raw material solution (having a viscosity of 100-1500cps) comprising (A) 5-35 pts.wt. of a dielectric inorganic powder material (preferably having a specific gravity of 3-10g/cm<3> ), (B) 3-30 pts.wt. of conductive carbon black, and (C) 35-92 pts.wt. (solid content) of a polyamic acid is centrifugally cast, and the obtained cylindrical polyamic acid film is subjected to a thermal imide ring-forming reaction to obtain the objective film in which the component A and the component B are mainly dispersed in the polyimide resin at places near to the outer surface and at other parts, respectively. The surfaces of non- outer surface parts have preferably surface electric resistance values of 10<3> to 10<14>Ω/square.
