Substituted 1,3,2,4-diazadiphosphetidines of formula I <IMAGE> (I) where preferably, R1 and R2 are branched alkyl or aryl, m and n are 1, p and q are 0, and YR3 and XR4 are substituted -O-phenyl or -N(alkyl)2, are excellent stabilizers for organic materials, particularly polyolefins.
