<p>PURPOSE: To provide a deodorant stably exerting the adsorbing performance against malodor materials of many kinds by forming it with a granulated material containing sodium-substituted zeolite and calcium-substituted zeolite and using cement as a binder. CONSTITUTION: Reformed coal ash and cement are used as main raw materials to form a granulated material. A caustic soda aqueous solution is added to coal ash, and the mixture is heat-treated to obtain a porous crystal material of sodium-substituted artificial zeolite as the reformed coal ash. Cement is added to the reformed coal ash and granulated, fixed phase reaction occurs, part of the sodium in the sodium-substituted artificial zeolite is substituted by calcium, and granules having the nature of the sodium-substituted artificial zeolite and calcium-substituted artificial zeolite are obtained. Since the granules are the sodium-calcium combined type and concurrently have the adsorbing characteristics of them, they can cope with malodors of various kinds, and the grain size is set to 1.5-5.0mm.</p> |
