PURPOSE: To obtain a medicine for external application capable of stably carrying an olephilic medical effect component in a large amount, manifesting a pharmacological effect for a long period of time and useful for a sticking agent or a liniment of ointment by including an olephilic medicine and an olephilic resin. CONSTITUTION: The objective medicine for external application is composed of preferably an olephilic medicine carried on an olephilic resin having 3-30 times (especially 10-20 times) of an oleic acid absorbency [(weight of a swollen olephilic resin by absorbing oleic acid - weight of the olephilic resin before swelling)/(weight of the olephilic resin before swelling) (g/g)]. As a suitable example of a monomer constituting the olephilic resin, a compound having a 3-30C aliphatic hydrocarbon group and containing at least one kind of unsaturated compound selected from among alkyl (meth)acrylate, alkylaryl (meth) acrylate, alkyl (meth)acrylamide, alkylaryl (meth)acrylamide, alkylstyrene andα-olefin is exemplified.
