PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent cables communicating a seat to a seat belt from being disconnected from the seat or overloaded under any circumstances of an automobile by improving an adjuster device for a belt deflector fitting of an automotive seat belt system. SOLUTION: This adjuster device for a belt deflector fitting of an automotive seat belt system having at least one longitudinally adjustable automotive seat has a first cable connected to the seat and guided to the outer periphery of a first pulley 26 and a second cable connected to the belt deflector fitting and guided to a second pulley 24. The pulleys 24, 26 are tensioned one against the other by a spiral spring 36 and coupled to rotate with respect to each other so that overloading of any of the components of the adjuster device is avoided.
