PURPOSE: To obtain the subject agent consisting of a specific fluorine-based surfactant, having good compatibility with a synthetic lubricating oil, capable of suppressing diffusion of oil content by adding to grease, and useful for grease, etc., used for precision machines, e.g. helicoid part and diaphragm mechanism of camera. CONSTITUTION: This preventing agent is used for adding to grease containing a synthetic lubricating oil such as poly-α-olefin oil, ethylene-α-olefin co-oligomer oil, silicone oil or diester oil as a base oil and comprises a fluorine-based surfactant e.g. a surfactant of the formula Rf-COO(CH2 CH2 O)n H [Rf is an 8C perfluoroalkyl; (n) is 20]} having perfluorocarbon chain as a hydrophobic group and having polyoxyethylene as a hydrophilic group. Furthermore, the amount of the preventing agent to be added to the grease is >=0.01wt.%, especially 0.01-10wt.% based on fluorine-based surfactant amount. |
