PURPOSE: To mold a wear indicator on a tire having a plane tread part without damaging the tire. CONSTITUTION: A tire mold consists of a fixed lower mold 2 and a movable upper mold 3 having upper and lower inner surfaces 2A, 3A for molding a tread and forming a troidal tire molding cavity around a center axis by mutual contact. The guide groove 5 extending outwardly in a radius direction from the opening surface 2C formed by notching the lower tread molding inner surface 2A is provided to the lower mold 2 and the dividing surface 3B of the upper mold 3 is equipped with the segment moving piece 6 having the guide part 7 fixed to the dividing surface to protrude downwardly and inclined in the direction separating from the center axis and the segment element 9 engaged with the guide part 7 in a slidable manner and having an groove 9 inclined at the same angle as the guide part and held in a state impossible to fall off to be inserted in the guide groove 5 from above with the falling of the upper mold 3. |
