发明名称 STRESS STRAIGHTENING METHOD FOR SEED PLATE FOR ELECTROLYZING
摘要 PURPOSE: To produce thin cathode plates having excellent flatness at a high yield by successively passing seed plates as the cathode plates to be used for electrolytic refining of metals through rollers for surface smoothing, roller leveler, grooved rollers and straightening rollers. CONSTITUTION: Electrolytic current efficiency is improved by reducing the spacing between the cathode plates and the anode plates while the contact with the alternately arranged in an electrolytic cell is prevented by improving the flatness of the seed plates of the raw materials for the cathode plates to be used at the time of producing high-purity electric copper, etc., by an electrolysis method. The seed plates 10 in a pallet conveyor 1 are, therefore, transferred by one sheet each onto a roller conveyor 3 by a vacuum type seed plate transfer device 2 and the granular projections on the seed plate surfaces are smoothed by the rollers 5 for surface smoothing via pinch rollers; in succession, the bends and twists of the seed plates are subjected to primary straightening by the roller leveler 7 having >=15 sets of work rolls 7-1 and backup rolls 7-2 having a diameter of <=50mm. Next, plural pieces of grooves are formed on the surfaces by the grooving rolls 8 and the seed plates are subjected to secondary straightening by the straightening rollers 9, by which the surfaces of the thin seed plates are smoothed and the entire part is flattened.
