A vaccine is disclosed for the prophylaxis against pathogenic development of atherosclerotic plaque in a mammalian subject susceptible thereto which comprises: (a) 10 to 30% by weight of the compound the compound <IMAGE> <IMAGE> (c) 10 to 30% by weight of the compound <IMAGE> <IMAGE> and (d) 10 to 30% by weight of the compound <IMAGE> <IMAGE> Arg Arg; in combination with a pharmaceutically acceptable inert carrier.
