A coupling system for furniture assembly is provided to effectively solve the problem due to the irregularity of the distance between panels. A connecting element for assembling furniture comprises a connecting bolt(100) and joint body(200). One end of the connecting bolt has a screw mechanism(110). An insertion bar unit(120) is formed at the other end of the connecting bolt. The insertion bar unit is inserted in the girth face of the other panel(900) which is abeam puts on the panel(800) surface inside the equipped base aperture(910). A head unit(130) equipped with a driver groove(135) is formed in the insertion bar end part. A seating groove(230) where the head unit is inserted is formed at one side of the joint body. A fork portion(240) where the insertion bar part is passed, is formed at one side of the seating groove. In the screw mechanism of the connecting bolt and boundary portion of the insertion bar part, the jaw(150) preventing the excessive insertion is formed.
