PURPOSE: To obtain a sport drink having good taste and drinkability and giving high energy to the body by removing the most part of monosaccharide and disaccharide from a hydrolyzed starch by fractionation treatment and using the obtained sugar as a main energy source. CONSTITUTION: This sport drink is produced by removing the most part of monosaccharide and disaccharide from a hydrolyzed starch having a DE of 15-35, preferably 18-25 by fractionation treatment and using the obtained sugar as a main component of energy source. The osmotic pressure of the fractionated sugar is preferably in the range of 100-140mOsm/kg. |
