BENT GRASS CONTAINING TRANSDUCED CHITINASE AND METHOD FOR CREATING THE SAME

摘要

PURPOSE: To efficiently create bent grass having enhanced resistance to disease injuries caused by molds as pathogenic fungi. CONSTITUTION: Bent grass containing a chltinase gene transduced thereinto is created by the following respective steps (A) to (C): (A) a step for transducing a recombinant DNA including the chitinase gene into a protoplast of the bent grass, (B) a step for culturing the protoplast having the recombinant DNA transduced thereinto in the step (A) and forming a fission cell and (C) a step for aerobically culturing the fission cell obtained in the step (B) at 7-30 aggregates/cm<2> cell aggregate density on a solid culture medium and regenerating the fission cell into a plant body holding the chitinase gene.
