PURPOSE: To obtain a controlling agent for insect damage due to aphids of fruit trees or flowers and ornamental plants. CONSTITUTION: This expellent comprises a cultured product containing spores of a bacterium Bacillus sphaericus T-1. The expellent is used by directly spraying the cultured product or diluting the cultured product and spraying the diluted material on fruit trees or flowers and ornamental plants. Thereby, disease and insect damage to nursery stocks of cabbages, chrysanthemums or peaches due to aphids is effectively controlled and the expellent is nontoxic to humans and animals without any fish toxicity. |
