PURPOSE: To smoothly fill an article to be packaged, and remove the powder from a sealed part. CONSTITUTION: A lateral sealing jaw 1 is made to perform a squeezing motion by decreasing or increasing the moving speed in a lateral sealing region without changing the rotation cycle of the lateral sealing jaw 1. By doing so, a powder is removed from a sealed part, or by forming a warpage on a packaging material on the upstream side of the lateral sealing jaw 1, the filling of an article to be packaged is smoothly performed. |
