PURPOSE: To provide a thermoplastic resin composition containing a polyarylene sulfide resin and a fluororesin produced by the copolymerization of tetrafluoroethylene, vinylidene fluoride and an asymmetric fluorine-based monomer and having excellent heat-resistance, chemical resistance, impact resistance and elongation. CONSTITUTION: This thermoplastic resin composition having toughness and improved impact resistance and tensile elongation can be produced without deteriorating the heat-resistance, chemical resistance and flame retardancy by compounding (A) a polyarylene sulfide resin (e.g. polyphenylene sulfide) with (B) a crystalline thermoplastic fluororesin produced by the copolymerization of (i) tetrafluoroethylene, (ii) vinylidene fluoride and (iii) an asymmetric fluorine- based monomer of formula (R is a halogen, a fluoroalkyl or a fluoroalkoxy) (e.g. chlorotrifluoroethylene) and (C) a silane compound having an organic functional group on the structure such as a silane coupling agent (e.g.γ- glycidoxypropyl trimethoxysilane), etc.
