PURPOSE: To prevent the decrease of an image quality by correcting the deviation of a belt upon rotating in a thermal transfer recorder which is so constructed as to retransfer a recording sheet after an image to be recorded is formed on the belt bridged between rollers. CONSTITUTION: The ink of an ink sheet is visualized by a thermal head based on image information. A belt 5 is endless, bridged over driven rollers 6 disposed at the downstream side of a platen roller 4. The rollers 6 have a central roller 6a in which the diameter is gradually decreased toward both sides, and side rollers 6b, 6c which are disposed at the both sides and in which the diameters are gradually increased toward the outside. The roller 6a is moved in response to the deviation of the belt 5. As a result, the right and left tension forces of the belt 5 are varied to correct the deviation of the belt 5. |
