发明名称 METHOD FOR DIAGNOSING LASER BEAM WELDING APPARATUS AND INSTRUMENT THEREOF
摘要 PURPOSE: To detect a sign showing the abnormality of an apparatus at early time by fitting plural pieces of contacting type displacement gage to clamping devices at the inlet side and the outlet side and diagnosing whether each position of the rear end part and the front end part of the strips in the preceding and the following runs during welding varies or not. CONSTITUTION: The rear end part of the preceding run strip and the front end part of the following run strip are butted with the clamping device 3 at the outlet side and the clamping device 2 at the inlet side and welded with the laser beam. At this time, the shifting distance in the arrow mark B direction of a tapered wedge 17 fitted to the clamping device 2 at the inlet side is measured with a contacting type displacement gage 19a. This measured value is transmitted to a kinematic strain meter 21a through a signal cable 22a and transformed to an electrical signal and transmitted to a calculator 23 through a signal cable 24a and it is diagnosed whether the clamping device at the inlet side is advanced to a prescribed position and stopped or not. By the same way, the variation of the retreating position 2a and the advancing position 2b of the clamping device 2 at the inlet side and the position of the clamping device 3 at the outlet side are diagnosed by using the contacting type displacement gages 19b, 19c; 19d, 19e; 19f, 19g.
