<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automobile interior space monitoring method which shows a high degree of reliability of alarms by surely grasping incursion into an automobile interior space. SOLUTION: In this method and device for monitoring the interior space of an automobile, at least one sound wave receiving device 1 converts sound waves in the interior space into time-dependent electrical measurement signals, which are in turn amplified and stored in a computer system 3. These individual measurement values are accumulated in a memory 4 as vectors, which are provided to an information processing circuit 5 in the computer system 3 and compared with at least one standard vector to form a similarity parameter. An alarm device 6 is actuated according to the degree of the similarity parameter.</p> |
