PURPOSE: To provide a cutting method for a steel pipe casing, which eases the cutting work and which does not cause damage to a cable lying within the steel pipe casing. CONSTITUTION: The cutting stage consists of a first stage, in which most of the thickness of a steel pipe casing 1 is ground by a rotary-type first grinding body 7, and a second stage, in which the rest of the thickness of the steel pipe casing 1 is cut by a pendulum-vibration-type, second grinding body 8 whose thickness is less than that of the first grinding body 7. |
