PURPOSE: To provide a recording sheet in which ink absorbency and glossiness are improved in the sheet in which an image can be formed by ink jet recording, etc. CONSTITUTION: A recording sheet comprises an opaque support and a colorant receiving layer provided on the support, wherein the surface of the support at the side provided with the layer has glossiness of 70% or more and the layer is made of silica particles having mean primary particle size of 10nm or smaller and a water-soluble resin. |
