PURPOSE: To provide a living body antiaging agent which contains, as active ingredients, an extract of the aerial part of Coleus forskohlii, which is a plant belonging to beefsteak plant, and has been used as a folk medicine in India, Arab, Africa and Brazil, and a skin composition containing the same. CONSTITUTION: An extract of the aerial parts (leaves, stems and flowers except the roots) of Coleus forskohlii and an antioxidant is used as an active ingredient to give this living body antiaging agent having high action to activate living cells such as skin cells and tissues and excellent antiaging effect with high safety. The agent is used to give a composition for skin. The composition has high effect to inhibit skins from aging. The amount of this antiaging agent is 0.01-10wt.% in the skin composition. This agent can be used also in other hair compositions, food products, beverage, medicines and other. |
