The messages are formed of a data description and the data itself. The messages can be of any length. The end of the message is indicated by a marker. The message is compressed at the sending end and decompressed at the receiving end. The message descriptions are sent separately.The message is cut into segments or length determined by length related tariffs on the communication network, with a view to optimisation of the cost of the communication.
