The packaging equipment has a head (51) and base (52), forming transverse sealing regions (1,2) with a third (3) extending longitudinally, in a band, between them. Two films are sealed one on the other, close to the first edge, forming the third region. On the main face. a zone covers the first film second edge (12) on the second film second edge (22). A fourth (4) sealing edge is formed as a longitudinally extending band, in the covering zone between first and second zones, spaced from the first film second edge. This forms a holding pad with the first film part (15), where its perimeter is determined by its first edge and thus the first, second and fourth sealing regions. Individual packages may be separated by cutting.
