The fastening consists of a component (2) which is able to fit temporarily and remain in place in the barrel (1) of the weapon, from which it can be removed as necessary, and a container (3) for an accessory, having publicity material on its outer surface. The inserted component can be conical in shape, tapering towards its inserted tip, or it can be in the form of a capsule. The container can be in a variety of shapes, and it can be made in one piece with the inserted component or made separately and joined to it. Both can have cavities to receive accessories or documents. They can be mfd. by extrusion or thermal moulding from a plastics material.
