The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a CID assembly for a secondary battery having excellent adhesion and a CID assembly manufactured thereby. According to the present invention, the method of manufacturing a CID assembly for a secondary battery having excellent adhesion includes opposing a film safety vent and a cap down portion having a plate shape, and interposing a bonding insulating member between the film safety vent and the cap down portion. An engraved pattern portion formed by irradiating a laser beam is provided on a surface on which the film safety vent or the cap down portion faces the bonding insulating member. Accordingly, a structure maintained with only a friction force by fitting between the parts of a cap assembly can be improved to increase rotary resistance and adhesion, thus significantly reducing failures due to vibration, and the thickness of the CID assembly can be fundamentally reduced, thus securing structural stability and increasing the capacity of the secondary battery.
