A silent ratchet consists of a housing (1) with an inner cylindrical clamping face (3) and, arranged coaxially thereto, input elements (5) and output elements (4). The output element (4) is provided with clamping ramps (23, 24) facing the clamping face (3) and bearing pairs of clamp rollers (25), with one clamp roller following the other in the circumferential direction. The two clamp rollers (25) are spring-loaded away from each other against the clamping face (3) and the clamping ramps (23, 24) by means of a spring element (26) set between them, the output element (4) being provided with stop faces (28) for dogs (19) of the input element (5). On their sides facing the stop faces (28) the dogs (19) have contact faces (27) in each case for one clamp roller (25) of a clamp roller pair, a circumferential clearance between the contact faces (28) and the dogs ( 19) being greater than a circumferential clearance between the contact faces (27) and the clamp rollers (25). It is proposed that the output element (5) have a thin-walled piece of sheet metal (6) with the clamping ramps (23, 24) and stop faces (28) integrally formed thereon without cutting. It is also proposed that the input element (5) be formed by a plastic disc (8) with plastic dogs (19) integrally formed thereon and by an input piece (9) connected to and rotating in unison with the plastic disc (8). |
