<p>The proposed block of a plate-type heat exchanger comprises alternating perforated plates (1) with channels (6) formed in the block body by corresponding perforated sections of the plates (1). A novel feature in the block of the plate-type heat exchanger is the design of the perforations in each plate (1) as identical regular slots (2) aligned in rows asymmetrically about the axes of the rows, the plates (1) in the block alternating in the manner of mirror images, and their adjacent inter-row spaces which coincide when fitted in the block body and the sections (3) of the plates (1) between the slots (2) at the points of overlap are rigidly interconnected to one another to form a sealed connection. In addition, the outermost plates of the block are designed as covering sheets (9) made of the same material with apertures (10) at the sites where the rows of slots (2) end, the latter corresponding to one aperture (10) of the covering sheet (9). The outermost rows of slots (2) on each plate (1) can take the form of a pair of residual rows of slots (2) and the end slots (4) of each row are wider (within the limits of the row) than the residual slots (2); the end slots (4) of the outermost plates (1) are forced against the apertures (10) of the covering sheets (9).</p> |
