<p>The invention relates to a method and apparatus for handling sheet stacks, in which method sheet stacks (2) comprising at least one sheet are moved into a storage (1) with the help of handling apparatuses into sheet piles (3) of at least one sheet stack. By virtue of purpose-designed support beds (4), a handling apparatus (7) and a straddle carrier (5), a flexible and efficient buffer storage system for sheet stacks is offered suited for interfacing with existing sheet processing lines.</p> |
