<p>An osteosynthesis device consisting of an outer cylindrical member including a head defined by folding wings, a hollow cylindrical body, a tip and means for folding the wings. The hollow cylindrical body is provided with inner flexible wings that are integral with the distal end of the hollow cylindrical body and extend up to a point adjacent to the head of the device, as well as with means for bending said inner wings. The device is particularly useful for fixing a complete osteosynthesis system onto the spine or sacrum.</p> |
