<p>A sex attractant for Migdolus fryanus Westwood belonging to the order Coleoptera which contains N-(2'S)-methylbutanoyl(2S)-methylbutylamine ((S)-enantiomer) or the racemic modification thereof alone as an active ingredient, N-formyl-L-isoleucine methyl ester alone as an active ingredient, or N-(2'S)-methylbutanoyl(2S)-methylbutyl(2S)-methylbutylamine ((S)-enantiomer) or the racemic modification thereof together with N-formyl-L-isoleucine methyl ester both as active ingredients. This sex attractant has an extremely potent effect of attracting male imagines of Migdolus fryanus Westwood and is efficacious in the prevention and control of this insect.</p> |
