Miniature commutator motor run-up time reduction system

The run-up time reduction system uses a motor run-up frequency which is higher than the normal mains operating frequency, for obtaining a shift in the neutral zone in opposition to the rotation direction of the armature without mechanical adjustment and for exact setting of the commutation current. Pref. the run-up frequency is selected so that the commutation current starts to flow when a slot lies in the first half of the commutator brush width relative to the rotation direction.
