Waste air collector duct for ventilation and air conditioning installations

The air collector has sequential duct sections (3, 4) which interengage with their facing ends (5, 6) on a presettable length (7), at least partly, or form mutual transition zones. The duct section have through flow cross-sections (8, 9), increasing with sudden cross-sectional addition. The widening section (11) is open towards the roof or space (12) and is determined by the interengaging, or overlapping cross-sectional increases between the subsequent sections. Pref. the widening section of each cross-sectional increase (10) is formed by an extension torque at downstream end (5) of the upstream duct section (3).
