The installation for automatically changing tools on a mechanised arm (2) comprises tools (31a,b) having parts (41) for their individual connection to the end of arm and parts to cooperate with a tool support (33). Each tool is connected permanently to a flexible part (43). Each tool support is cleared by the arm and associated with support (45) on the flexible part of the corresponding tool. The arm has lateral clamping parts (65,67) with the flexible part.
