The egg and incubation installation has an enclosure (2) to house the eggs (O). The eggs are stacked on trays in a wheeled support (4). The installation has air conditioning outside the enclosure, and delivers controlled air into the enclosure. The air conditioning unit is in its own enclosure (5), and a constant flow fan (7) delivers air (F) from the conditioner to the egg enclosure. The air emerges through diffusers (20) and is directed between layers of eggs. Air is collected (3) on the opposite side of the enclosure to the inlets, in a chamber separated by a perforated wall (30). The air conditioning unit has a heater (50), an air cooler (51) and a fan (6) drawing in outside air. A temperature transducer (22) and a humidity detector (23) provide data to a controller (A) regulating temperature and moisture.
