Chenodeoxycholic acid and ursodeoxycholic acid, both natural bile acids, are well known for the treatment of cholesterol gallstones, biliary dyspepsia and chronic hepatopathies (urso only). The object of the present invention is the use of these acids or a combination thereof for the preparation of a medicament for the treatment of atopic dermatitis.
