<p>A lift assembly comprising a rail system and a lift being capable of movement along said rail system, for example a chair lift for a disabled person, whereby said lift can move upwards at an angle, at least along part of its path. The rail system comprises two guides (12, 13), one being provided substantially above the other, whereby the spacing between said guides depends on the angle of inclination of said guides. Supporting elements (2) interconnect said two guides, and the two guides are each detachably connected to said supporting elements. The supporting elements are provided with rotatable securing means for the guides in fixed places, so that the spacing between the guides is a function of the gradient.</p> |
