Long face conveyor with travelling machine track esp. for underground coal mines

The machine track (2) is coupled to a conveyor trough and has a guideway for the mining machine guide skid (7), or for rolling or sliding supports for underground mining machines. To the machine track, on to the guideway is allocated a face (15) covering wear preventing sheet metal baffle (18) in an exchangeable manner. Pref. the baffle is adapted to the shape of the support strap (8), or its face and releasably coupled to it. The baffle is typically made of a highly wear-resistant material and may be set on the machine track, with adaptation to the guide skid.
